Red Rose Solutions Ltd T/A Red Rose Insurance Solutions ("Red Rose", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website, why we collect it, how it's used, and the choices you have — including the cookies and analytics tools described below.
This policy covers our website only. It doesn't cover the personal information we hold about you as a client of our insurance advice service, which is set out separately in our client privacy notice, available on request from info@redroseinsurance.co.uk.
Red Rose Solutions Ltd T/A Red Rose Insurance Solutions is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under registration number 844492. Our registered address is Suite 307, Daisyfield Mill, Appleby St, Blackburn, BB1 3BL. You can contact us about privacy matters by emailing info@redroseinsurance.co.uk or calling 01254 790796.
When you first visit our site, you're asked to accept or reject non-essential cookies via the banner in the bottom corner of the screen. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookies" link in the site footer.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use our website — for example, which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and which device or browser they're using. This helps us improve the site and the advice pages people find most useful.
We've configured Google Analytics with Google's Consent Mode. If you haven't made a choice yet, or
you reject analytics cookies, Google may still receive anonymous, cookieless signals (for example, a
basic page-view count) that can't be tied to you individually and aren't used to build a profile of
your visit. No _ga cookie or similar identifier is set on your device unless you accept
analytics cookies.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics sets cookies (typically named _ga and
_ga_<container-id>) that assign your browser a random identifier, and collects
information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site, and general location and
device information (derived from your IP address, which Google does not store as-is against your
identifier). We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally, and we don't combine
Analytics data with any other personal information we hold about you.
Google acts as a data processor on our behalf for this data and may also use it for its own purposes in line with its own privacy policy. You can read more about how Google collects and processes data at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
If you use one of our forms — for example to request a quote, make an enquiry, or report a claim — we collect the information you enter (such as your name, contact details, and the details of your enquiry) so we can respond to you. We only use this information to handle your request and, where relevant, to provide our insurance advice services; we don't use it for marketing unless you've separately agreed to that.
Analytics data collected via Google Analytics is retained in line with our Google Analytics account settings, currently set to automatically delete after 14 months of inactivity. Enquiry and quote request data is kept only for as long as needed to deal with your request and to meet our regulatory and legal obligations as an FCA-authorised firm.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to ask us to restrict or stop processing it in certain circumstances. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@redroseinsurance.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we haven't handled your data properly.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change the cookies or analytics tools we use. The current version will always be available on this page.
